NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City of Lake Wales is accepting sealed bids for:

ELEVATED WATER STORAGE TANK MAINTENANCE

At 11:30 A.M., EST on Wednesday, October 11, 2023, in the City Commission Chambers at the

Municipal Administration Building, 201 Central Ave. W., Lake Wales, Florida, bids will be opened

and read aloud.

One (1) original, two (2) copies and one (1) electronic copy on USB flash drive of all proposals of all bids, including all executed documents and needed attachments, shall be placed in a sealed envelope, marked “ITB 23-539: SEALED BID FOR ELEVATED WATER STORAGE TANK MAINTENANCE”, and delivered prior to the opening deadline.

A non-mandatory pre-bid conference will be held at the City of Lake Wales, City Commission

Chambers located at 201 Central Avenue West, Lake Wales, Florida, on Tuesday, May 3, 2016 at

9:30:00 A.M. Staff will be available to answer any questions and will conduct a site visit at the end of

the pre-bid meeting. The last day for questions will be Wednesday, October 4, 2023. The final

addendum will be posted on Thursday, October 5, 2023.

Intent

The City of Lake Wales is looking for a qualified vendor to maintain the following elevated water

storage tanks:

200,000 gallon tank at 1050 N 5th Street – WTP #3

500,000 gallon tank at 900 Eagle Ridge Drive – Mall Tower

500,000 gallon tank at 138 E. Sessoms Avenue – WTP #1 500,000 gallon tank

at 1180 Ray Martin Road – Southside Tower

Responding to the Invitation to Bid

All persons and firms wishing to submit bids must obtain a complete copy of the Invitation to Bid and

submit all required forms as outlined in the bid document with their response. Bids and related forms
