The purpose is to inform the commission, which will listen and not engage in argument or debate. Answers about subject matter can be better handled with city staff during business hours.
Anyone wishing to speak should
give their name, state if they are a resident, taxpayer, business owner, or
utility customer and they will have 5 minutes. Utility customers should only
speak on matters concerning those utilities.

The City Commission will consider approval of an Interlocal Agreement with the Polk County Sheriff’s Office to continue providing fire and police telecommunication services.
