BMail, Bookmobile, & Polk County Library Cooperative
Memberships
Membership at the Lake Wales Public Library automatically entitles you to library privileges at any other public library in Polk County. An applicant residing outside of Polk County will be assessed a $50 per household registration fee for an annual membership in the PCLC.Reciprocal Borrowing Program
We offer reciprocal borrowing with Osceola County, as well as the Tampa Bay Library Consortium. Residents of these counties can use their system's valid library card to obtain a PCLC card at no charge under our reciprocal borrowing agreement. Some restrictions apply. Seasonal residents of Polk County are entitled to PCLC membership at no additional charge.

Books By Mail (B-Mail)
B-Mail is a home delivery service available to all library customers who reside within Polk County. Books and materials are mailed to customers whose library membership is M good standing. Some restrictions may apply.B-Mail is a low cost, easy way to receive PCLC materials. In fact B-Mail delivery to your home is free! When the title you've requested is located it will be delivered to the address listed on your library account. The return of books and materials is the responsibility of the customer. B-Mail materials must be returned to one of the 18 Polk County Library Cooperative sites, including PCLC's Bookmobile. Materials may be returned during regular library business hours or in the after-hours drop boxes available at most sites.
Bookmobile
The PCLC Bookmobile will operate in unincorporated Polk County and incorporated cities without public library services. The Polk County Library Cooperative's mobile branch library will serve residents Wednesdays through Saturdays. Scheduled stops will be on the first and third week of each month and the second and fourth week of each month. See our schedule here.
